The Texmac SOLO Direct to Garment printer has proven to be exceptionally reliable with owners. However, the printer requires proper maintenance to stay this way. This page contains maintenance, troubleshooting procedures and other resources for the printer.

Maintaining your SOLO Direct to Garment Printer
These help documents give illustrated advice on keeping SOLO making quality prints, day after day, whether you're printing heavy volume or only occasionally.  Cleaning takes less than 5 minutes a day (but only on the days you print!), minimizes downtime and maximizes production!

Improved Vario RIP software (Version 1.0203D)  with Updated Color Profiles - Complete Install CD.  Works for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows - XP, Vista, & Win7.  Comes with template files (no need to download the template files above) as well as improved color richness and accuracy.  This completely replaces the install CD in your VARIO software box.  Requires security dongle.

(March 25, 2013) Windows 8 64-bit compatible printer driver for your SOLO direct-to-garment printer
Template Files for TEXMAC SOLO (not necessary if the new RIP software above is installed, which includes these templates)  This WINZIP file contains the templates for the child and sleeve sized platens that come with the printer.
Maintenance programs for TEXMAC SOLO

Firmware Update and Instructions: Continuous Mode
Click on this link to download the ZIP file containing the program, data file and instructions to add Continuous Mode to SOLO, which allows the printer to automatically print the color layer immediately after the white underbase.
